The transmitter supports voltage spikes up to 1.5 kVrms and offers electrical isolation between input and output. It is compatible with devices that have earned the HART® certification. The main difference is that it has two 4-20 mA current loop wires for total configuration, which means more functionality for monitoring and device setting.
