All RTD instruments can be checked and calibrated with the Metravi CAL-408 RTD Calibrator, a high precision simulator for PT100 Indicators/Controllers. With 16 calibration points, it covers the Pt100’s general operating range. At -200, -100, -50, -25, 0, 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 °C, outputs are available. The Metravi CAL-408 RTD Calibrator functions similarly to an RTD (resistance temperature detector), which is essentially a temperature sensor based on the measurement concept that a material’s electrical resistance increases with temperature.
The Metravi CAL-408 RTD Calibrator is compact and simple to operate. It is used anywhere measuring and controlling devices need to be calibrated and tested with greater accuracy, such as in the food industry, medical research, steel industry, sugar industry, cement industry, testing labs, etc. It was specifically made for field use.
No reference temperature table is required. The simulation’s necessary resistance levels are directly specified in degrees Celsius.
