The N480D line of PID temperature controllers was created for inexperienced, first-time users in order to combine the great performance typically seen in costly, high-end controllers with a very simple operating system.
It is an inexpensive device that is simple to set up and use. It has a relay and pulse output for driving solid state relays, accepts the majority of thermocouples and Pt100 RTD, and can alternatively be supplied with a linear 4 to 20 mA output. Standard features include ramp soak function, dual display, full range universal power supply, and auto tuning PID function.
In terms of simplicity of use and performance, it significantly outperforms the antiquated analog controllers.
